Botanical Gardens
Dedicated to preserving and displaying the flora of the Southern Appalachian mountains, the Asheville Botantical Gardens is a 10-acre nonprofit nature preserve located next to the University of North Carolina.

Brevard Music Center
The Brevard Music Center is a beautiful 140-acre campus tucked deep into the mountains of Western North Carolina, and offers more than 80 orchestra, opera, and chamber concerts each summer.

Chimney Rock Park
A visit to Chimney Rock park is an unforgettable experience in one of North America’s greatest natural wonders. Whether taking in the breathtaking view of a thundering waterfall, or conquering the 200-foot challenge of the park’s trail and stair system, a visit here is much more than a simple walk in the woods or nice view.

Flat Rock Playhouse
Officially designated the State Theatre of North Carolina in 1961, the Playhouse was founded in 1952 by Robroy Farquhar and his Company of Vagabond Players. What began as a few weeks of summer performances is now an eight-month season of plays including Broadway musicals, comedy, drama, and theatre for young people.

Pisgah National Forest
This vast and beautiful forest consists of over 500,000 acres surrounding Mt. Pisgah. Adventure seekers can hike the 1.6 mile trail to the summit of the mountain for breaktaking views.
